Our chosen song is On A Mission by Katy B.

Although this track does have a music video, our music video will significantly differ from it. Through; Mis-en-scene- props, costumes, make-up, hair. Camera-work, Editing, Setting and locations.

This video will differ from our real music video firstly because it's set on stage where she's singing to her fans and to achieve the same result, it is impossible to find a location like this. For this reason, we decided to choose this song to produce an independent music video. Consequently, our locations will be places like; Underground, London Bridge, an open park area, Oxford Street.

Katy B uses is the stage throughout the music video and a car where she's seen in various times.In terms of props, she doesn't use anything but a microphone and the DJ set playing in the background in a concert whilst performing.

I regards to the use of Camera and Editing, the video contains many uses of cut away shots, Close ups, Mid shots, Long shots especially to capture fans in concert) Slow motions, blurred shots and many others. We will try and include as many types of shots and editing as we can in our music video as well because this is key, it isn't about 'copying' at this stage. Though, we will attempt to be unique and use these in our own ways.

Overall, we have chosen this video believing that this is the most suitable artist and music video to suit myself (Gizem Lip syncing). We have looked at other artist as well but the issue with them was, either their music video was popular and we didn't want to necessarily appear as we tried to 'copy' the video, or the artist's voice didn't suit.
