Kane's blog: post production

We will use Final Cut Pro to edit our music video. Our video will feature the use of:

• Jump cuts
• Slow motion
• Transitions
• Base tracks

Editing to the beat is mainly important that the changes of the shots correspond with the pace of the beat, due to the beat being fast paced we will incorporate a lot of jump cuts and may also include slow motion shots during the bridges of the song.

Base tracks will be used to give the video structure. The shots will move in time with the beat, not only will this be done during filming but also during editing where we may have to increase the speed of the shot in post production to fit the music video.

In post production, we may incorporate visual transitions to make the music video more entertaining for the audience so they remember the artist and the song more effectively.
