Katy B
Song: What Love Is Made Of
The Album cover is kept very simple and clear.
-Font, the blue filter is evident with a large white font "On A Mission" which looks very simple.
- Clothing, she is wearing a casual clothing. Black vest top with jeans which is unsophisticated however I believe that she truly does present the Dub Step genre as the genre is very playful yet relaxed, mainly street clothing is apparent.
- Location, is seen in London City as she's British as well.
Music Single
-Clothing, is kept very simple again so we can tell that the album cover and music single video does connect with each other. We can also see the jeans she wears throughout the video as well as the same hair style in different bas-tracks.
-Props, although the audience cannot see any props on the album cover, we can see in the video that she has headphones, hats etc. We can also tell that although she was solo in her album cover, there are a lot of other actors within the music video seen mainly in a house, partying.
-Locations, there are many different base tracks used within this music video. One of the locations are at home with other people partying, having fun and the other location is at the car racing area where cars are seen also.
-Props, these are used simply and effectively used to suit the Dub Step genre. Cars are used to go with the rhythmic speed of the music track, the headphones and hats are used to suit the genre as well because these are connotations of 'street style'. We see multiple dancers for visual pleasure and this is mainly something to expect in other Dub Step genres.
Overall, the album cover does relate to the music single video costume wise, as she is dressed very causally in the video as well. There is isn't however a strong link with the album cover though and this is because there is no sorts of filter used like on the album itself.
