Pitch- Core Audience Gizem's blog

The main audience for our music video is mainly 14+ - 20 however ages above 20-28 is considered as a wider choice of audience range. The main aspects that will appeal primarily to teens are the choice of style (our artist's choice of clothing must be stylish- skater dresses, heels, colourful lipstick, playful hair could be be used to support this.) Teens as we are aware, seem to be interested in stylish, girly dresses and skirts as well as glamorous make-up etc. (pink lipstick presents a girly appearance whereas a red lipstick is much more classy and 'sexy'.

We have thought deeply about how we could appeal to our core audience. We've also thought about how we could appeal to the wider audience range (adults). The way we could effectively appeal to adults specifically 20-28 year old people is that, we could use props like headphones, interesting - dark but flashy light locations perhaps to get a 'party experience' or include scenes of people performing for example in Oxford Street to entertain audience and make our video appear professional and well thought about. We could use trainers and high heels, red lipstick as it connotes a 'classy, sexy view' to appeal to both core and wider audience as well.
