Filming Summary

Myself and my group have filmed various days in our full potential. There has been times where being in front of the camera was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable. However, as days passed by filming, I started to feel much more comfortable performing in front of the camera which helped develop my lip syncing and my performance in general.

During the half term, we filmed in London Bridge and Piccadilly circus and had so much fun. We filmed in London bridge around 1:00pm to catch the daylight, we also filmed at night In London Bridge as our first location. At night, we stayed at the same location however, we went down stairs to the area with multi coloured, bright lights to make the most out of filming at London Bridge. The area helped us with more footage which was beneficial.

Here is a screenshot of the Pinterest I've made online

The second place we filmed at was Piccadely Circus. It was certainly a great idea to film
there. We captured talented street performers dancing,we also captured great shots of the atmosphere. the view was particularly better at night time when it got darker, the bright lights all around the streets gave us the perfect lighting. This location however was extremely hard to perfom due to the amount of people distracting me and making it hard to film.

We filmed for the second time at City Road Basin. Filming there, near the lake was amazing, we have filmed a couple scenes there where I walked by the water which were successful so we'll definitely be using those scenes in our music video.

The third location
we filmed at was Kensal Green. We decided to film when it got late in the evening so we had darkness. We used our flash when filming in Kensal Green park but didn't need the flash later on in the funfair scenes. The park was a quiet greenery place which was much more convenient. We then moved to the Funfair area and filmed at the arcade and the rest of the rides such as: twister and many more, which was also exciting.

The fourth location we filmed at was the Barbican centre. It was easy to find areas to film in because of the amount of buildings and locations there were. Such as: the tall wall areas, glass windowed area and many more places we found! We used the flash light in rare occasions according to the darkness of the location. We filmed during the morning to catch the bright, natural daylight.

Our final destination had to be the Photography room! The most exciting area we filmed for sure. We used the projector in the Photography studio to ptoject different thenes on to the wall to achieve a 'pop star' look. We successfully managed to represent this within the use of theme and lighting. We decided to film at an high angle shot to caprure what we needed. The whole effect of the projector and my body language really helped portray the dubstep genre effectively.
